We went to the zoo last week with friends. I got off this cute picture of Lily and Hugh sitting on wooden elephants, I have no idea what they are both looking at!
Oliver, what more is there to say
Lily got her black eye when she was sitting on the top of one of those fisher price cars. Oliver was riding in it, and she was on top. Somehow she lost her balance and landed on her head. I think she then had a pretty good headache for the rest of the day, but other than the black eye she is fine, and proceeded to climb on top of the car again. The weather here is turning into fall, which means overcast and cooler. With rain. This is good as the country had been in drought state for years.
The kids are doing well in swimming lessons. They aren't really learning to swim yet, but are trying out the water. I think that the lessons teach them a lot about listening, taking turns, being patient... All this is good for both Lily and Oliver. Oliver has gotten a lot more comfortable in the water than when we started, but Lily will still just go and jump in, and she can't make it back to the side herself, so we have to keep a good eye on her still.
