Our next surprise

As some of you may already know, probably most everyone who reads this blog, Greg and I are expecting our second baby!  Thats right, Lillian is going to be a big sister.  The babies are going to be 14 months apart, roughly. I am hoping that they will be close friends at least during their younger years, if not forever.  Everything is going fine, the baby is moving and growing, I am not very happy about growing with it, but what can you do?  I am now 24 weeks along, over halfway there, and am very excited.  I thank god that Lily is such an easy baby though, I think if she were hard then the prospect of having another so soon would be very daunting.
We had an Ultrasound a few weeks ago, so here are a few of the pics of the new baby.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Happy Fourth of July everyone.  We are back in Iowa at my parents cabin on the lake.  I can hear fireworks going off all around as people celebrate.  We were supposed to have out big lake fireworks yesterday, but they were postponed until tomorrow due to terrible weather, the closest we came to fireworks was the power going out for a few hours.  It was kind of a crappy day again today, but it ended on a beautiful night, calm and the sun came out just before it set, so that was pretty.  I hope that everyone had a wonderful day!

Congrats Jordyn!

Lily and I flew to Houston at the beginning of June so we could be there for Jordyns graduation.  Traveling with Lily when she is mobile is getting harder, hopefully she isn't walking yet when we have to fly home to Saudi.  Lily got to know Troubles and Nanook again, and they all get along well enough with each other.  There were lots of people who came to graduation, so it was great to see everyone in one spot.
Jordyn is getting ready to go off to college at Montana state in Brookings Montana.  She is excited to get there after the summer break.  It is non-stop here in Houston, very busy, always going and doing.  I got to see some old friends from high school which was nice.
