The lake is crystal clear so far this year (at least it is when the wind isn't blowing so hard). Our lifts aren't in the water yet, so when we were looking into the water we saw a few of the 'feet' that belong on the bottom of the lift legs. So we told Jordyn to jump in and get them, which she didn't want to do, but she did claim that she would go tubing if the boat was in (yeah right...) So I said I would do it, naturally! (what am I, crazy) I must be, because I did, I jumped in the water that was colder than the Colorado river water last year (I swear) It was so cold that I got an ice headache as soon as I jumped in, and it was so hard to breath. But I did it, and I got the two feet, and it was cold, so so so cold. When I was out though I thought that my Dad would have done it, so it wasn't that crazy!
Today was another beautiful day, I finished painting the room above the garage, and we had a pretty quiet day around the cabin enjoying the nice day. We are hoping for cement to be poured tomorrow so that we have a drive way to park in and a side walk to walk on instead of dirt. Hopefully the garage room will be done soon, but at least livable by the end of next week and we can all spread out and breath a little bit. There are lots of projects to do around here when there is more room to get at it all, lots of things to go through. We can't wait to get at it all.
